Fayetteboro, N.C. — Fayette County has set a date for its first home opener against North Carolina, but no game date is set yet.
The home opener, which is set for Sept. 9, will mark the start of a four-game series against the Tar Heels.
The Tar Heel’s final home game is on Sept. 22 against North Dakota State.
The series finale is Sept. 23 against the Duke Blue Devils.
Fayetteville has been one of the most difficult areas of the ACC to play in.
It has been difficult to get into because of the difficulty of finding a hotel to stay in the state.
Fulham County has been much easier.
The Fayette Co. has been able to hold a series against Wake Forest in 2017, but it has not been able go deep into the ACC in the last three years.
The Fayette-Bucknell game is scheduled to be played at 7 p.m.

Fawn’s will also have a 4 p., 9:15 a., and 11 a.M. home opener.
The 2018 Western Open Weekend will feature a round of 16 tiebreakers between Virginia and Kentucky.
Kentucky will play Virginia in the first round.
